The Secret Sauce To SUCCESS!

Five Ideas To Maximum Your Sponsoring

Today I thought I'd share 5 simple things you can do to increase your sponsoring success. All five may not be for you, but I think you'll find at least a few things you can apply that will up your results.

Here are five ways to boost your success in our industry:

1) Strive to become a master communicator. Communication is critical in our business, and the better you get at it the more success you'll enjoy in this industry. Need help? Consider joining ToastMasters or taking a Dale Carnegie course. At the very least, read the book: "How To Win Friends & Influence People" - this book continues to draw rave reviews for a reason: it works! If you already own it, dig it out and re-read it. If not, buy it.

2) Update your goals, and put them in writing. There is no getting around the simple fact that those of us who put our goals in writing, experience greater success. It's been proven time and again. Here's a great book if you need some motivation: The Magic Lamp: Goal Setting for People Who Hate Setting Goals

3) Chart Your Progress. Do it by hand or use a computer, but find a way to chart your progress. Seeing where you're at, the progress you've made and where you're headed can make a huge difference.

4) Use a whiteboard. Yep, a whiteboard. You can get 'em at any office supply store and they're an outstanding way to get the "big picture" and give you a birds eye view of your business on any given day or week. They'll make you more productive and help you kick things up a couple notches.

5) Strengthen your follow-up system. How good is your follow-up system? Too complicated? Simplify it! Not using one? Get one! More networkers blow it on follow-up then I care to think about. Don't be one of them. Find a good system and use it. I've used Goldmine, ACT and even Outlook - finally, I settled on Palm Desktop Software and I love it. Others swear by ACT. There's no one right answer here, just find something you like and run with it. It doesn't have to be complicated, simpler is often better. The main thing is that you use it.
