We all have are preconceptions about millionaires: they're tax evaders who just inherited their money from rich Aunt Flo, and they hang around the golf course all day with their snobby, elitist friends. So what's the average millionaire really like? Here are seven millionaire myths, and the real facts about the ones who seem to have it all.
1. Millionaires Don't Pay Their Taxes
Fact: It is estimated that millionaires, those in the top 1% of earners, pay about 40 percent of all taxes. Current tax regulation shifts may change these numbers to make this even larger than that -- so think twice before accusing the millionaires in America of not paying taxes.
2. Millionaires Just Inherited Their Money
According to Thomas J. Stanley's book, "The Millionaire Next Door: The Surprising Secrets of America's Wealthy," only 20% of millionaires inherited their riches. The other 80% are what you'd call nouveau riche: first-generation millionaires who earned their cash on their own. Many millionaires simply worked, saved, and lived within their means to generate their wealth -- think accountants and managers: regular people going to work every day. Most millionaires didn't get their riches overnight when a rich relative died -- they worked for the money.

What If !
I Was So Naive! I Got Scammed Countless Times... And I admit it… It was brutal and I got creamed. I maxed out redit cards and almost went bankrupt… which left me disappointed, frustrated, fed-up and ANGRY!
And what really sucked is that I had no one to blame because I was the one that was naive and the one who bought into these crooked "deals."
It was definitely a rude-awakening realizing that I was just a measly pawn in the game. A pawn for my sponsor who was the only one benefiting from my hard work!
I was one of his worker drones. One of thousands of people (just like my drone brothers and sisters) – programmed by my sponsor to line his pockets.
I was also naive not knowing that 97% of ALL other home based entrepreneurs were like me…
They Were ALL Struggling And Dying
The Death Of 1,000 Small Wounds. Maybe you can relate, but for your sake let's hope you can’t.
Anyway… slowly my "brothers and sisters" were running out of money and going broke, just like I was, because they had less money NOW compared to when they got started!
But what did it matter? In their eyes… EVERY one of us were the same. In fact, you could sum up what we all were to our sponsors, upline, and even the company owners.
In one word, we ALL were…REPLACEABLE.
I was defeated and was close to giving up multiple times...
I Knew I'd Never Be RICH.I'd never be off that leash. Not at the rate I was going.
Obviously, what I was doing wasn't working. I was completely broke and I didn't know what to do, who to turn to, or who to trust. I was confused, and at times even physically ill at what had happened to me.

I realized... All the things I struggled with were the same things everyone else was struggling with. Continuing on that way was pointless.
Once I realized my mistakes, I was FURIOUS at how I'd been taken. I saw that if I continued to follow the instructions and training I was given, it would take me many years to build a residual income that was large enough to replace my job.
In the meantime I'd be lucky if half my team didn't split off to the "next best deal!"
It wasn't until I voluntarily "opted out" of the insanity that my anger turned to hope when I realized...
I HAD IT ALL WRONG and I was paying the price.
I don't have the time here to explain how I made the mental turn, but a couple of years later I sat down with a great friend of mine named Mike Dillard and explained exactly how I reversed my thinking—and changed my life—for good.
The takeaway here is this: When I took myself out of the equation—that's when I started having fun, seeing results and making money (a lot of money!)
I realized everything I'd learned over two and a half years of trial and error pointed to one thing... The need for a marketing system that would eliminate all of the variables.

I even went as far as setting up a call center staffed with professionally trained business coaches, and customer support staff so that my marketers wouldn't have to do most of the grunt work and selling!
