10 ways to convert clicks into customers using email
Here are some tips on how small-business owners can leverage the power of e-mail marketing to bring in business.
Can you really use e-mail to reel in paying customers? After all, people are inundated with e-mail messages these days -- everything from spam to spyware can end up in our mailboxes daily. According to a 2009 study by the Radicati Group, a research firm based in Palo Alto, Calif., there are roughly 1.4 billion e-mail users worldwide. That's just about one in every five people on Earth, according to the study.
So how can you, as a small-business owner, leverage the power of e-mail marketing to bring in business? That's the question BizBytes 101 posed to three popular e-mail marketing companies -- Constant Contact, iContact and VerticalResponse. They are responsible for sending millions of e-mail messages daily on behalf of their clients which include companies of all sizes.
• Build a permission-based list. ``A clean, permission-based list is the foundation for successful e-mail marketing,'' said Lisa Sparks, Constant Contact's regional development director in South Florida.
``This means that every single subscriber on your list has asked to be there. If you're emailing people who have not given you permission, you're spamming them. That won't do your campaign or your business any good at all. Your goal is to build strong relationships, not scare people away.
``Some things to keep in mind about permission -- it is not transferable, nor is it infinite. It's a good idea to clean your list a few times a year, weeding out subscribers who no longer open your emails, or whose addresses are no longer valid.
``A clean, permission-based list will deliver much better results than a purchased, outdated or overly broad list ever will.''
• Target your audience. ``Know your e-mail subscribers, segment them, and deliver a personalized message for each of those segmented groups of subscribers based on what is more relevant for that particular audience,'' said Keith Moore, chief marketing officer at iContact.
``One general e-mail message sent to everyone at once is far less effective than a targeted, personalized message sent to the right subset of your audience at the right time. It is key to use the right e-mail subject lines and making sure your e-mail looks great in each of the various e-mail [programs] that are available today if you want to get people to open and read your e-mails,'' said Moore.
• Remember that e-mail marketing is really all about relationships. ``When your customers sign up to receive your e-mail, they are choosing to enter into a relationship with your company because they like something about what you're doing and want to hear more from you,'' said Janine Popick, CEO of VerticalResponse.
``So, think of your e-mail messages as the link to that relationship. To build strong relationships with your subscribers, your recipe for success is to provide relevant information in a timely manner on a consistent basis.''
• Educate your audience. ``Quality content and relevant information is more valuable to your subscribers than just basic product or service offerings even with discounts,'' said Moore.
• Include a strong call to action. ``A call to action will tell readers what you want them to do, why they should do it, and how to do it. First decide what you want them to do -- make a reservation, fill out a survey, or visit your website or store,'' Sparks said.

Five Keys To Home Business Success!
5 Critical Things Needed To Go Full-Time In Your Business!
Can we be honest with ourselves and admit that becoming full-time and earning a real income in our home business seems like a pipe dream?
Even those who believe wholeheartedly in the industry find it difficult to fathom ever walking away from their jobs and being sustained fully by their part-time business.
I’m no stranger to this thinking after having fought for over 25years to get there myself.
I’ve come to realize that the reason why it is so difficult is because nobody is telling us the truth about what it takes, both in fundamental skills as well as tools and resources.
Here are the 5 things that you absolutely must have to go full-time in the next 2-5 weeks, rather than 2-5 years:
1. You need a product that gives your reps REAL VALUE, even if they don’t build the business.
2. You need a product that will cause your reps to think twice about getting off autoship. Did you know that only 5-7 out of 100 reps remain on autoship after 3 months? You may know this very intimately since these numbers reflect your current autoship situation. You must have a product that your reps can see will hurt them financially by NOT having it. In the mind of your rep, they need to be thinking, “the more of this I have, the better off financially I will be.”
3. You need a product that is easy for the newest rep to have success because it’s easy for them to explain with little or no training. Turning into a scientist or techno-guru is slowing down your growth. Some ingredients are difficult to pronounce let alone explain. Simplicity is the key.
4. You need comp plan that offers massive upfront cashflow that isn’t dependent upon your own production. We all love to quote J. Paul Getty who said, “I would rather earn 1% of 100 men’s efforts than earn 100% of my own.” Well, what if there was a comp plan that paid you 100% of 100 men’s efforts? That type of comp plan does exist and it is critical to getting free sooner than later.
5. You need a team of leaders who have successfully accomplished genuine success. Your coach/upline must be the “real deal.” You can have a superior product, but with weak leadership and systems, you won’t succeed. McDonald’s has a VERY inferior burger, but a SUPERIOR system that is undeniable.
The challenge for most of us is that we can look at this list of 5 things and point to only two or three of them as being available in our current company. Without having all 5 of these things, you will be stuck trying to get free for the next few years, if ever. If you got into your business for time or financial freedom, why wait indefinitely to get there? If the idea of being profitable enough to walk away from your job by August of THIS YEAR fires you up, the blueprint on how to do that is in this webinar. God's blessings upon YOU!

CEO - YOU!
Personal Goal Setting
Find Direction. Live Your Life Your Way.
Goal setting is a powerful process for thinking about your ideal future, and for motivating yourself to turn this vision of the future into reality.
The process of setting goals helps you choose where you want to go in life. By knowing precisely what you want to achieve, you know where you have to concentrate your efforts. You'll also quickly spot the distractions that would otherwise lure you from your course.
More than this, properly-set goals can be incredibly motivating, and as you get into the habit of setting and achieving goals, you'll find that your self-confidence builds fast.
Achieving More With Focus
Goal setting techniques are used by top-level athletes, successful business-people and achievers in all fields. They give you long-term vision and short-term motivation. They focus your acquisition of knowledge and help you to organize your time and your resources so that you can make the very most of your life.
By setting sharp, clearly defined goals, you can measure and take pride in the achievement of those goals. You can see forward progress in what might previously have seemed a long pointless grind. By setting goals, you will also raise your self-confidence, as you recognize your ability and competence in achieving the goals that you have set.
Starting to Set Personal Goals
Goals are set on a number of different levels: First you create your "big picture" of what you want to do with your life, and decide what large-scale goals you want to achieve. Second, you break these down into the smaller and smaller targets that you must hit so that you reach your lifetime goals. Finally, once you have your plan, you start working to achieve it.
We start this process with your Lifetime Goals, and work down to the things you can do today to start moving towards them.
Your Lifetime Goals
The first step in setting personal goals is to consider what you want to achieve in your lifetime (or by a time at least, say, 10 years in the future) as setting Lifetime Goals gives you the overall perspective that shapes all other aspects of your decision making.
To give a broad, balanced coverage of all important areas in your life, try to set goals in some of these categories (or in categories of your own, where these are important to you):
Artistic:
Do you want to achieve any artistic goals? If so, what?
Attitude:
Is any part of your mindset holding you back? Is there any part of the way that you behave that upsets you? If so, set a goal to improve your behavior or find a solution to the problem.
Career:
What level do you want to reach in your career?
Education:
Is there any knowledge you want to acquire in particular? What information and skills will you need to achieve other goals?
Family:
Do you want to be a parent? If so, how are you going to be a good parent? How do you want to be seen by a partner or by members of your extended family?
Financial:
How much do you want to earn by what stage?
Physical:
Are there any athletic goals you want to achieve, or do you want good health deep into old age? What steps are you going to take to achieve this?
Pleasure:
How do you want to enjoy yourself? - you should ensure that some of your life is for you!
Public Service:
Do you want to make the world a better place? If so, how?
Spend some time brainstorming these, and then select one goal in each category that best reflects what you want to do. Then consider trimming again so that you have a small number of really significant goals on which you can focus.
As you do this, make sure that the goals that you have set are ones that you genuinely want to achieve, not ones that your parents, family, or employers might want (if you have a partner, you probably want to consider what he or she wants, however make sure you also remain true to yourself!)
Starting to Achieve Your Lifetime Goals
Once you have set your lifetime goals, set a 25 year plan of smaller goals that you should complete if you are to reach your lifetime plan. Then set a 5 year plan, 1 year plan, 6 month plan, and 1 month plan of progressively smaller goals that you should reach to achieve your lifetime goals. Each of these should be based on the previous plan.
Then create a daily to-do list of things that you should do today to work towards your lifetime goals. At an early stage these goals may be to read books and gather information on the achievement of your goals. This will help you to improve the quality and realism of your goal setting.
Finally review your plans, and make sure that they fit the way in which you want to live your life.

The Currency Of Success!
MULTIPLE FORMS OF WEALTH
Money is just one measurement of wealth. High net worth is only one currency of success. In my mind, there are multiple forms of wealth that you need to look at to decide whether you are truly successful. And playing at world-class.
Here are a few of them:
1. Full Creative Expression.
If you go to work every day and express your absolute best, you have equity that makes you pretty rich. Celebrate that. And take it into account when evaluating the true strength of your success.
2. High-Trust Relationships.
Surrounded by an impressive Circle of Genius? Get to associate with people working at wow? Have friends who would go to the wall for you-and champion the highest version of your greatest vision. If so, than you're a very wealthy person. I'd encourage you to recognize - and appreciate - that.
3. Personal Leadership.
To me, personal leadership has a lot to do with being congruent. And ensuring that your daily deeds are consistent with your deepest values. Personal leadership also has a lot to do with standing for excellence in a world filled with mediocrity. Being passionate, positive and polite. And standing for fearlessness when others are scared. If you rate high in this category, you have some riches to take account of.
4. Impact and Influence.
Leadership isn't about your title. It's about your impact. And whether you run a company or serve hamburgers, the choice you're faced with every day is to influence other by your example of excellence or play victim to the conditions around you. If your influence is high and you help people become better by all that you model, celebrate that win. And count yourself rich.
In Leadership,
I am KINGDOM ... KINGDOM I am !

Excuse Me - America Needs Our Help !
Do SOMETHING !
LEAD by any means necessary!
In what is possibly the worst economy in eighty years, in a time when America is struggling for breathe and life, the "so-called" great mlm leaders have gone into hiding - gone down a black hole!
In what is actually the "perfect storm" ... broken economy - stocks, real estate, housing. In a economy where the "money engine" baby boomers are scratching their heads, and wondering "what happened to my money?"; the mlm leaders have disappeared. Hiding behind "glamour -glitz" websites, and "so-called" auto money machines - all hustle, no help. In a time when America needs leadership ... there is very little leading at all!
What's worst than these "non-leading" leaders, are the lazy followers who throw their money at these foolish gifting programs and half baked mlm ideas ... these lazy minded followers abandon all "common sense", and run to slaughter without a second thought, and having lost more hard earned money, are forced to put retirement off yet another year. The only thing more "sick" than the lack of common sense is the arrogance of the sheep - they spit at, laugh at true leaders while being torn apart!
I grew up listening to the likes of Bill Britt, Dexter Yager, Dr. Forrest C. Shaklee, Sr, Jay Van Adel, Rich DeVoss,Blake Roney ... these mlm founding fathers spoke of a day when good products and great people would converge with struggling Americans to form an alliance, and create economies amongst ourselves.
So, where now ? The numbers say it all ... 46% of all American households spend more than they make, 66% of Americans do not have $2500.00 in savings ... we have 9.6% unemployed, and leading forecasters like Harry S.Dent predict 15% unemployment. If there was ever a time to teach individuals mindset, and business strategies for the internet, and leadership skills for life - it's today!
Excuse me please ... I've got an America to save!

Sort, Sell ... the key to Success!
This is from the desk of Kingdom!
Amateurs SELL --> Professionals SORT.
In the end, this entire process can be summed up in just three
steps...
Now let me start by asking you a simple question:
Would you rather have people eagerly contacting you about
your products or services, or would you rather hunt them
down and beat them over the head with a sales pitch until
they runaway calling you a crazy person?
Well if you like option #1 more than option #2, pay VERY
close attention because I'm about to fill you in on how we
make that happen each and every day for our members here
at PRO...
The first thing you need to know is that "marketing" is king.
Period. If you don't believe me, let me prove it to you.
(By the way, making a list of your friends, family and business
contacts to pitch the latest fruit juice, lotions, potions and
pills to is NOT marketing. It's called "laziness" and does not
work.)
Let's say that you have the chance to market what you think
is the best new product in the world, so you have the company
ship $3,000 worth of it to your front door.
Well guess what...It's just going to sit there.
Have you ever heard those weird stories about Amway guys
who had garages full of product?
Well that happens because products don't sell themselves.
"Marketing" does.
So here's "how" we make that happen for our members in 3
very simple steps:
* Step #1 -- Build a prospect list. This is a list of the
people who respond to your advertisements, signaling to you
that they have in interest in what you offer.
(As a PRO member, our design team builds
your web sites for you and equips them for list building so
that you are building database of interested prospects over
the long run. NO other activity in all of marketing is more
critical than this one).
* Step #2 -- Build a relationship with your list. People buy
from those they like, respect, and trust, and it's no
different here. The best way to do that is to offer true,
honest value.
(As a PRO member, our professional copywriting
team writesALL the follow up emails for you and send them
out from our server for you, just like this email.
You never even have to deal with it unless you choose to.)
* Step #3 -- Market to your list. This is when you market
products and services that will help the people on your list
get what they want.
(As a PRO member, our highly trained and
experienced sales and marketing team host over 15 LIVE
coaching calls per week and 4 LIVE events per year to
"show you" the exact online strategies that have mad us
millions...yes, millions.)
Remember, this isn't about you making mo ney....It's about you
serving others. The mo ney follows.
NOTE -- This would take you "years" to do on your own if you have
limited internet marketing experience.
Ready to "see how" PRO does "ALL three" of the
above steps !

Fear - ALWAYS !
I have a client who was sharing with me, their issue with fear. As I listened to the client I knew they wanted me to assist them, help them, but all I do could was hear them ... you see I deal with fear as well - always.
For many years I was just afraid, and then I became ashamed of being afraid, and finally I became angry that I was afraid - so, now I was afraid, ashamed and angry - which is really a crazy place!
As I shared this insane cycle with my client, I could tell that he was waiting for me too give him the "secret sauce, the magic pixie dust", and it broke my heart that the only advice I had for him was that I chose fear over shame and anger.
My client seemed astonished that I would take fear, but I felt a sense of power, a sense of relief, a sense of purpose - fear - ALWAYS.
KINGDOM am I ... I am KINGDOM!

BIW - BEST IN THE WORLD !
Whether you’re already an entrepreneur, or just thinking about becoming one, you are invariably motivated by one of two things, or maybe even both–passion and necessity. Very often, entrepreneurs do what they do simply because they like it and want to do it. And because entrepreneurs, particularly very successful ones, rarely do anything half-way, they tend to pursue their lives and their businesses with a unique intensity. In short, they are passionate about how they live and work.
Sometimes though, entrepreneurs start a business because they have to.
Maybe it was because they were laid off from their jobs, or even worse, fired. Perhaps their company went out of business and left them out of work, or didn’t pay them enough money. In today’s economy, it’s not uncommon to see whole industries collapse when their markets dry up, as we’re seeing with real estate, construction, mortgage lending and automobiles. Many of today’s highly successful companies were started by entrepreneurs and bred from pure necessity, plain and simple.
Entrepreneurship carries with it many rewards–and many risks. It is often said that when you are self-employed, you wake up unemployed every morning. But according to Experian, one of the three biggest credit reporting agencies, self-employed entrepreneurs make about 25% more than the general population. Of course when you really consider income differential, you also need to realize that most of the wealthiest men in America made their fortunes as entrepreneurs. Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Donald Trump and Sam Walton are all self-made billionaire entrepreneurs.
But what about the risks? According to Entrepreneur Magazine somewhere between 85 and 94% % of all new business fail within the first 5 years. According to Dr. Gregory B. Murphy, associate dean and director of the MBA program for the College of Business at the University of Southern Indiana, the number of small businesses that close up shop due to severe financial distress such as bankruptcy is more on the order of 30%-40%. Regardless, this is still a huge rate of attrition.
Regardless of the risk, according to a study of entrepreneurs conducted by Master Card International, 65% of small business owners would tell a friend to start a business now, rather than wait a year. And according to MSNBC, small businesses are responsible for over 75% of the net new jobs in the economy.
These businesses often start very small–called micro businesses–and then grow rapidly. The US Census Bureau reports that 49% of the nation’s businesses are run from home, and industry analyst the Dieringer Group places the number of Americans running businesses from home at 45.1 million. Today, more so than ever, it is easy to start such a home-based business. Global search engine giant Yahoo reports that well over 75% percent of adults surveyed online indicated that the Internet directly facilitated the launch of their new business.
Based on all of this, regardless of whether you are–or want to be–an entrepreneur based on passion or necessity, you also need to consider the risk versus the reward. The potential benefits are vast and unlimited. The major risk is that you have about a 50% chance of failure. But you can get around that by doing some very basic things.
Leaders are not born. They are created. Anyone can become a leader in any area if they want to. (Read OUTLIERS by Malcom Gladwell) You need to set realistic expectations and manage them aggressively and then stick the bleep in there!
Success is almost entirely based on determination–having the discipline to hang in there even when you feel like quitting a 1000 times. Most entrepreneurs fail because they simply give up too soon. Free enterprise is really about the survival of the fittest, where only the strongest survive. The formula is simple–figure out what you what and then don’t quit until you have achieved your goals. Period.
All my best,
I am KINGDOM!

Life Wealth Systems Manifest
There is a new breed of life wealth coaching emerging with a different vision of the world. These advisors are seeing the potential impact of the relationships they have with clients that eclipses the traditional parameters of financial management. The new advisor is a life wealth manager. The new advisor sees wealth as being multi-dimensional encompassing several areas, including financial, spiritual, relational, physical and intellectual. This new breed of coaching - the Life Wealth Way.
A Life Wealth Coach is looking for a process that will help them address each of the dimensions of wealth and create an integrated strategy. There are many opportunities and processes that are available to assist the advisor in this quest. However, in today’s complex environment, advisors/coaches are no longer happy to sit back and be fed a brand and its values. They want to interact with the brand source which means giving them access to the brand and inviting them to co-create. Life Wealth is created with the goal of making it easy for a community of coaches/advisors to get involved with a brand and affect its direction, maybe even its values. Life Wealth is a community that is immersed in conversation and dialogue that fosters listening to what the market is asking for and responding to a greater calling of impacting clients to influence the world.
The Life Wealth System Advisor Community will allow like-minded people the opportunity to share ideas, explore cutting edge thinking and collaborate to build an integrative financial and life planning process that is universally applicable and incredibly influential in challenging and motivating people to dream big, live large, serve well and change the world. This community can help unleash ideas, strategies and tools that are innovative, surprising, energetic and engaging.
The Life Wealth Systems Community recognizes that there are many smart coaches /advisors who have years of experience and a wealth of information to share that would benefit the community as a whole. This collective brainpower can empower more advisors to effectively meet a growing need among their clients.
The Life Wealth Systems Community embraces the following core principles:
1. We believe that true personal wealth is the accumulation of financial, relational, physical, spiritual, and relational capital.
2. We believe that comprehensive financial planning is an incomplete process without addressing all five dimensions of wealth.
3. We believe that prosperity and success is never measured by financial wealth.
4. We understand our primary role as coaches /advisors is to look out for the best interest of our clients.
5. We know that each of us has been given a particular sphere of influence to which we are called to lead.
6. As trusted coaches /advisors, we will teach, mentor and lead our clients based on sound principles and truth.
7. Planning is a tool; challenging, motivating and encouraging others to achieve personal excellence and to understand their greater purpose in life is our true calling.
8. We will refuse to see each other as competitors but rather we see each other as colleagues extending our influence for a common goal.
9. We acknowledge that there are certain skills required of a Life Wealth Systems coach and we pledge to help each other develop and perfect those skills.
10. Together we can equip and empower one another to utilize God-given gifts and effectively leverage other member’s strengths in our quest to change our world!

"JLK" Y'all ! Just Keep Living!

I just looked up inertia on Wikipedia: "... the resistance of an object to a change in its state of motion [...] inertia means that an object will always continue moving at its current speed and in its current direction until some force causes its speed or direction to change."
Inertia is everywhere, in all physical objects and in every one of us. This is not necessarily a bad thing. For a long time I relied on inertia to get me going in the morning so I could get to the job where I earned enough to get through the day so I could get up the next day and do the same thing, again and again, day after day.
Even though in my daydreams of wealth and generosity that wasn't exactly what I pictured my life to be, I accepted it. Routine can become comfortable. It's common to develop a kind of psychological inertia, to know what to expect, to go along doing your thing, surviving.
Whatever path you are on, you can become driven by inertia...right up until you get that gnawing feeling that you're going nowhere fast. In that case, guess what? You are. That's inertia for you. But, if you have ambitions, things you want to learn about, places you want to go, people to meet, a sense that you want to be part of a greater good, a desire to earn more money, well, then inertia becomes a force you have to overcome.
Going back to our definition of inertia, changing a body's direction or speed (or both) requires an outside force. When it comes to people and inertia, however, that force can also emerge from within. It starts with a desire but also requires making a decision and following it with action.
It sounds simple, and it is. But simple doesn't equal easy. You may have the desire to change but not the will. That's no longer inertia at work. That's something called laziness: perhaps the single greatest obstacle to achieving your goals. That's when coasting is no longer passive and has become an active form of resistance to change.
To put it bluntly, you can't be lazy and successful. Lazy entrepreneurs are the 90% who fail.
Spend some quality time with yourself. Listen to your heart. Figure out the top five things that you know you can change to take your income to the next level. (You will know what they are because you know yourself better than anyone else.) No matter how difficult or challenging they may seem, put them on the list. The more resistant you are to completing a task, the higher up on your list it should go. Work on each of the five every day until they are completed. And, if working on these things means getting help, seek it out. Talk to an expert. Get an education. The responsibility is yours. Just remember, inertia is at your side whether you like it or not.
All my best,
