Three Traits, Three Factors, Three Skills
3 Skills You Need to Succeed
Top-income-earning entrepreneurs, business leaders, and speakers come in all shapes, sizes, races, and religions. But every one I've ever met share three critical success traits...
Success Trait #1: Maintain a Larger Vision of Yourself
The key to improving yourself and getting more of everything you want from lifeSuccess Trait #2: Be an Effective Communicator
The key to a magnetic personality and expressing yourself with character, charisma, and authoritySuccess Trait #3: Motivate, Inspire and Empower Others
The key to influence, persuasion, and getting others to take the actions you want them to take
Without them, you'll struggle for years with dismal results (at best, you'll cycle through peaks and valleys, ups and downs).
But with them, you swiftly achieve a life beyond your wildest dreams!
The good news is ... they are completely learnable. And they are each components of your natural-born Power Voice.
Break down each of the three critical success factors for you...
Success Factor #1:
Maintain a Larger Vision of Yourself
As a success-minded person, you KNOW – without an inkling of a doubt – that you are capable of more. Achieving more, earning more, becoming more.
It's the attitude you must possess, if you want to achieve your goals and live your dreams.
Trouble is, most people never cement their positive self-belief firmly enough in their minds. Hence, they never transform belief into certain, unshakable knowledge.
And if you're not already #1 in your field, you will benefit immensely from this part of the training seminar.
While you're there, you'll develop a larger vision of yourself ... the absolute, bullet-proof certainty that you can be, do, and have more in your life—now, and for the rest of your life!
You'll also learn exactly how to maintain full belief in yourself and your ability to live out your dreams – no matter what life throws at you.
Now bear with me, because you get far more than that.
And if you miss the rest of this, you're forever doomed to ride the highs and lows of the emotional (and financial) roller-coaster ... where good times never last.
Now, let me reveal ...
Success Factor #2:
Be an Effective Communicator
All successful business people are effective communicators. They've developed their ability to connect and bond with people in every situation. They're likable. They're magnetic.
But they aren't born effective communicators. They've worked at it. That's why conversation, public speaking, even persuasion appears so natural to them.
Here are just a few of the communication skills you'll acquire when you attend Discover Your Power Voice :
•The powerful truth behind your "Circle of Influence"... Why your power to persuade is limited to people within your circle ... how to widen your influence, so previously untouchable 'A-Players' are naturally drawn to you.
•How to become a slam-dunk 'under-the-radar' sales person – without awkward, high-pressure sales tactics.Discover the subtle, non-confrontational selling psychology most people never learn. Put these secrets to work for you and selling becomes as easy as talking about the weather.
•How to find your inner voice. Your inner voice is the message you speak to others and how you speak it. One reason most people struggle is because they fail to find their voice. But once I show you how to find yours, speaking will come naturally (to intimate groups or large audiences)... like second nature to you. People will be drawn to you and your character, your confidence, your charisma. They'll sense the integrity in your voice ... and they'll want to do business with you and help you pursue your goals.
•How to unleash the world-class, global communicator in you – without embarrassment, humiliation or fear! As the #1 Motivational Speaker in the world, I'm paid millions of dollars + First Class accommodations for my presentations. I'll teach you my most effective methods that have had the biggest impact on audiences of all sizes and a variety of cultures and ways of thinking.
When I'm through with you, you'll be prepared to speak your mind with power, passion, and conviction to any group – at a moment's notice.
When you speak, your audience will hang on your every word.
What's more, these skills will automatically spill over into your writing, too! You'll possess a renewed clarity for words: mentally, verbally, and written. Now, your ads, emails, and marketing materials will sparkle with a natural persuasive allure that attracts more paying customers!
•How to get more enthusiastic "Yes" responses ... become empowered by "No" ... and squash false "wishy-washy" commitments like “maybe” or “I'll think about it.” Get rapid, firm commitments from others and leap into productive action.
•And many more techniques that'll turn you into amaster of communication and the persuasive arts!
Let's move on to ...
Success Factor #3:
Motivate, Inspire and Empower Others
Many people say I'm the best there is at motivating others into action. And I will teach you how to do the same. I touched on several of these methods above. Now here are two more of my best-kept action-inspiring secrets that I'll unveil to you:
•How to create an aura of “no conflict” and close more deals more often. This win-win method is so pure, so innocent, even complete novices can harness its power to attract new distributors and sell more product – just hours after learning it! As you continue to use it, you'll feel its power root deeper within your being.
•Strategy: The Distract-Dispute-Empower Method. I'm pulling back the curtain a bit for you to see how this strategy works...
Step 1: Distract - Whether your audience consists of one person or ten thousand, everyone is connected with the 'story' (or thoughts) going on in their own head. It's your job distract them from their own internal dialog and enroll them into one committed listening. How? Through your message and the strategic delivery of your story, your sales pitch, your idea... you effectively engage their attention. Rather than speaking to segments of the audience (or a half-engaged listener), you fully engage your audience emotionally to what you're saying.
Step 2: Dispute - Whether you're selling an idea or a product, you are continuously working to raise the beliefs and expectations your audience has about themselves (or your product). Therefore, your message needs to dispute their existing beliefs. To grab onto a new belief, they must let go of the other.
Step 3: Empower - If steps one and two create the fertile ground, step 3 nurtures the seeds. Here, you inspire your audience to act on the new beliefs you created.

Internet Marketing Evolution, Revolution or BOTH!
First the bad news: The jobless rate in the United States is
skyrocketing and is now 6% higher than it was before the
recession of 2001. Not good, and downright dangerous...
Manufacturing jobs have shed over 212,000 jobs in the
past year. The Financial Services industry has shed over
79,000 in the past year. And thats only two industries.
Are you still relying on a 'JOB' to determine your future?
I sure hope not. The times have changed...BIG time. The
question is: Will you change with them?
If not, you could be in for quite a rough ride ahead...
The good news: You now have a very, very real "solution"
to the unemployment crisis unfolding in the United States.
As a matter of fact, you not only have a solution, you have
game plan, a proven business model, a turn-key marketing
system, a call center to make sales for you AND a team of
experts in place to assist you every step of the way...
All of these components have never been in place in the
Home Business industry...until now, which is exactly why
we created the revolutionary CarbonCopyPRO marketing
"system"...
...So that folks with ZERO experience can plug right in and
have success in a matter of weeks not years or decades like
in the "old school" M L M model.

Do You See What I See !?!?
Forget New Year's Resolutions - They Don't Work
Goal setting expert explains real success lies in life plans, not in making resolutions.
"You can forget about making New Year's Resolutions if you're hoping for a successful outcome. Most aren't worth the paper they're written on," says Vic Johnson, a leading goal setting and motivation expert.
Most New Year's Resolutions have gone by the wayside before January is over and most won't even be remembered six months later. And the reason is pretty simple. Most are made in response to something negative; a habit or situation that the person wants to change or end. And therein lies the problem - it's hard to develop momentum from a negative response. It is always easier to move toward something than away from something.
Consider one of the most adopted goals --- weight loss. No one can get excited about losing weight - it requires deprivation. It's a negative response to concerns about appearance, health, etc. The results of weight loss New Year's Resolutions demonstrate their weakness. A survey sponsored by Gardenburger found that more than three-fourths of all women between the ages of 25 and 54 make diet and weight-loss plans each year. Nearly nine of 10 respondents reported only occasional or no success, while almost half lost little or actually gained weight instead.
"The people who succeed at losing weight and maintaining the loss have usually been motivated by a dream much bigger and more positive than just losing weight," explains Johnson. "They see themselves living a healthy lifestyle. They begin to act and think like people who are in good physical shape. There's more of a radical change in a person's thinking and actions than you see with most resolutions. It wouldn't be possible to effect and sustain such a radical change unless the person is motivated by a big dream that is positive in nature."
Another popular aim is to quit smoking. Johnson himself was a three-pack-a-day smoker until he celebrated a smoke-free New Year's sixteen years ago. "For over twenty years I had tried to quit many times using every tool and technique I'd hear about. But as long as I was trying to quit, I couldn't break the grip. Instead, I developed a dream to become a non-smoker. I fell in love with the idea of breathing clean air instead of smoky air, of my body and clothes smelling nice instead of smoky. I thought about how wonderful it would be to taste food again. I decided to start acting and thinking like a non-smoker, and when the thinking took hold I simply quit smoking. In all the years since, I've never wanted another cigarette, never even thought about wanting one."
According to Johnson, the best goal to set is one that calls for the individual to create a plan for their life based on a set of personal dreams. "Most people are in a free-fall through life, careening from one crisis to the next. If you were going to build a new house and you had this idea for a fabulous master bedroom suite, you wouldn't rush out and start building the master bedroom. You'd have a complete plan before you started. When you approach resolutions and goals in the same manner, you end up with a much better chance of achieving success."

Network Equals Net Worth!
79,000,000 (yes million) Americans plan to start their OWN
businesses in the next 3 years (Forbes Magazine). The great
majority will do it through a Network Marketing / Direct Sales
model.
In fact, both Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki recommend
the Network Marketing industry in their latest book: "Why We
Want You To Be Rich."
Trump and Kiyosaki BOTH say that if they had to do it all over
again, they would build their fortunes in THIS industry. Oh! I
almost forgot, Warren Buffet also bought a half dozen or so
Network Marketing companies in the last few years...
In fact in Trump and Kiyosaki's book "Why We Want You To
Be Rich," they dedicate an ENTIRE chapter to it! (chapter 25).
This is the only business model they wrote a WHOLE chapter
on.
NOTE! -- NOT 'M L M' though.....they do not mention M L M
even once in their book. There is a major, major difference between
"true" Network Marketing and M L M that most will never know....

The Secret Sauce To SUCCESS!
Five Ideas To Maximum Your Sponsoring
Today I thought I'd share 5 simple things you can do to increase your sponsoring success. All five may not be for you, but I think you'll find at least a few things you can apply that will up your results.
Here are five ways to boost your success in our industry:
1) Strive to become a master communicator. Communication is critical in our business, and the better you get at it the more success you'll enjoy in this industry. Need help? Consider joining ToastMasters or taking a Dale Carnegie course. At the very least, read the book: "How To Win Friends & Influence People" - this book continues to draw rave reviews for a reason: it works! If you already own it, dig it out and re-read it. If not, buy it.
2) Update your goals, and put them in writing. There is no getting around the simple fact that those of us who put our goals in writing, experience greater success. It's been proven time and again. Here's a great book if you need some motivation: The Magic Lamp: Goal Setting for People Who Hate Setting Goals
3) Chart Your Progress. Do it by hand or use a computer, but find a way to chart your progress. Seeing where you're at, the progress you've made and where you're headed can make a huge difference.
4) Use a whiteboard. Yep, a whiteboard. You can get 'em at any office supply store and they're an outstanding way to get the "big picture" and give you a birds eye view of your business on any given day or week. They'll make you more productive and help you kick things up a couple notches.
5) Strengthen your follow-up system. How good is your follow-up system? Too complicated? Simplify it! Not using one? Get one! More networkers blow it on follow-up then I care to think about. Don't be one of them. Find a good system and use it. I've used Goldmine, ACT and even Outlook - finally, I settled on Palm Desktop Software and I love it. Others swear by ACT. There's no one right answer here, just find something you like and run with it. It doesn't have to be complicated, simpler is often better. The main thing is that you use it.

The WHY'S Have It!
Why Do People Join Network Marketing?
The incentives for people joining network marketing are as varied as the people themselves. Still, there was a time when I naively thought that the sole motivation behind people joining this industry was the opportunity to make more money.
It wasn’t long before I learned that the network marketing industry offered more than monetary rewards. In addition to financial independence, there are many other factors involved, which induce people to investigate this remarkable industry.
A few years ago, I was introduced to a gentleman by the name of Frank, who had recently joined his first company. After exchanging a few pleasantries, I learned that Frank was a senior vice president for a large industrial company. Midway into our conversation, I asked the one question that had been nagging at me. “Frank, as a senior vice president, you must be making a very comfortable living. I’m very curious to know what attracted you to network marketing?”
Misconceptions
Frank’s reply was totally unexpected. “Well Tom, professionals just don’t get part-time jobs.” He continued to explain, “I believe that a large percentage of the general population feels that a professional with a lucrative job, doesn’t have money problems. This is an assumption that is not necessarily factual.”
Frank elaborated by admitting that he and his family lived in a beautiful new house, and that he drove a new car. His children were well dressed, with the latest in electronic games and, as a family, they went on vacation at least once a year. The sizeable salary generated by Frank was spent almost effortlessly.
Sustaining A Lifestyle
Frank also mentioned that his wife didn’t work outside the home. His philosophy concerning his wife’s employment was contrary to that of some men. Even in the 90’s there are some men who believe that a wife should work outside the home . . . so she doesn’t get bored! (After all, cleaning the house, taking care of the children, shopping for groceries, preparing meals, doing the laundry, plus a few odd tasks, could all be taken care of at night!) Frank realized that being a wife and a mother was in itself a full-time occupation.
In summation, Frank diplomatically rationalized that in spite of working 12 to 14 hour days, often including weekends, extra income was still needed to sustain the lifestyle he wanted for his family.
However, he did not want his wife working outside the home. Despite the desire for an additional income, Frank could not see himself applying for a position at the local convenience store as an assistant manager. Aside from being overqualified, he also would be forfeiting time with his family. After all, his primary reason for seeking additional income was his family.
Alternatives
Frank and his wife had discussed the possibility of buying a fast-food franchise. This option was dismissed shortly after they realized that a sizeable investment was required as a down payment. Next on their list of possibilities was a small sandwich shop. The retiring owner was willing to offer financing terms.
Frank and his wife sat and went over the figures. His wife looked at him and said, “Frank, let me see if I understand this correctly. We are going to pay a significant amount of money for the privilege of making sandwiches for other people. Meanwhile, the return on our investment will not be evident for at least five to ten years. Is this the way you perceive this situation also?”
Jointly, they decided this alternative was not practical either. When the discussion led to better budgeting, a red light went off in Frank’s mind. His thoughts were in terms of making more money, not cutting back.
Unknown to Frank, the answer to his predicament was only a few weeks away. Through the mutual acquaintance of a former business associate, Frank was invited to a network marketing opportunity meeting. The rest, as they say, is history.
Today Frank’s goal is to secure an early retirement from his executive position. Upon retirement, Frank plans on working his network marketing program full-time. With his retirement check and network marketing bonus checks, he and his family will be able to continue living the lifestyle of his choice!
Now I ask you, do you know of any other business where people can work from home, spend quality time with the family and still earn as much, if not more than their current job? In Frank’s own words, “What type of job can you get, that offers the opportunity to make more money while performing less work? As the downline grows, there are more people continually generating a residual income. Don’t you just love network marketing?”
Salesmanship
Whether you are a veteran or a novice in the network marketing industry, try to recall the primary reason you joined your program. Think back to the first program, or a subsequent program you’ve joined. What was your motivation in joining that particular company? Was it the products, service, marketing plan, or the need for more money? In all probability, the prime incentive for joining was the person who presented the opportunity to you.
Why did you buy the car you are driving, or the entertainment center in your family room or the computer in your office? How many car dealerships, electronic stores, and computer stores are there in your area, that are competing for your business? Surely you could have made your purchases from any one of a number of businesses. So why did you buy, what you bought, where you bought it? (Need a hint? Because of the salesperson!)
Network marketing is a business – your business – and as in conventional businesses, you have competition. Competition not only with other network marketing programs, but also within your program. Remember that when you introduce your opportunity, you are presenting more than products, services, or a marketing plan. You are presenting yourself as well. Your goal is to convey the message that your opportunity is unique. What makes it unique is you.
A Familiar Scenario
Consider the number of times you’ve been approached by distributors from other network marketing companies. I’m confident that, at one time or another, you’ve experienced a scenario similar to the following.
You receive a call from John Key with the revelation that you’ll be set for life, if you join him in his new venture, The ABC Company. Three weeks later he approaches you again, convinced that he has the opportunity of a lifetime. You must enroll under him in The DEF Company. You’ll make $10,000 the first week.
The following month Mr. John Key presents The GHI Company to you, insisting that you’ll be able to retire in the lap of luxury in less than two months. But you have to join now; and so on, through the alphabet of network marketing companies.
Keep in mind, as you present your opportunity, the importance of building a solid reputation. Trust, honesty, sincerity, dependability and consistency, are all deciding factors in building a strong network of working distributors.

12 Steps To Success!
The 12 Key Insights
Sponsoring is easy, you know the 12 key insights. Most networkers make the big mistake of trying to recruit people. That's wrong. Recruiting is for salespeople. You have to recruit lots of people to make a living.
Sponsoring. Now that's different. You only need to sponsor three or four people who want to learn the skills and believe that they can succeed. If you accomplish this in your entire networking career you'll be very successful. Are skills and techniques the Key insights?
Techniques and skills are nice. They are even necessary to build your business. But, you can train a parrot to say the right things, to mimic certain skills and techniques.
The key insights are totally different. They are the big picture, the understanding of what's really happening. If you comprehend these insights, then you'll understand what needs to be done in almost every situation.
So the important things for networkers to do is to discover and master the 12 key insights, right? Definitely. Knowing the big picture and understanding the dynamics of networking makes our job simple. This keeps us from having our downlines quit, from having empty opportunity meetings, and from wasting time on useless presentations.
How do the 12 Key Insights work?
Here's one example of the key insights and how the insight changes the way a distributor approaches the business.
What is the best product or service you have? Distributors who are in nutritional companies talk about their vitamins. Those who are in a long distance program talk about their calling cards. And, they may have a great vitamin or a great phone program. But let me ask you, "Will everyone want your vitamin or phone opportunity?"
What if you had a product that everyone wanted and nobody had it but you? Would you consider yourself to be in an exceptional position?
Well, you do have such a product. It's called FREEDOM. And that's what this industry offers us. The opportunity to earn money and to have the time to spend it. How will this insight change and empower a new distributor?
Well, instead of selling product to customers and distributors, the main part of the sponsoring presentation will revolve around helping the prospect define and desire freedom. Once the prospect assimilates this concept, nothing will stand in this prospect's way.
The relatives can be negative, the products can be back-ordered, the weather can be bad, the economy can be challenging... none of that matters. The prospect is focused on achieving freedom.
This is why many distributors experience negative reactions, downline dropouts, and frustrating experiences in their network marketing careers. The age-old question.
A lot of people think that if you get in on a ground floor company they will have a better chance for being successful.
Others think that looking for a stable company with a few years under their belt is more important.
What do I think?
I think that if you know the 12 key insights it doesn't matter if they company is ground floor or a few years old. And if you don't know the 12 key insights, it still doesn't matter because you won't be able to build your network.
Field Testing
We took three distributors and applied the 12 key insights, and 18 months later we had 10,987 distributors. I would consider that to be pretty good duplication.
I should add that this one field test used only person-to-person sponsoring. We didn't even utilize some of the popular tools such as: fax-on-demand, voice mail, long distance sponsoring, e-mail, etc. The average person may not have the money or the expertise to start using these tools right away. However, everyone can learn and utilize the 12 key insights.
Was my organization successful before learning the 12 key insights? Well, my organization was large, but not a duplicatable organization for everyone. In other words, I had to learn how to build the network just one time, and make it strong and consistent.
