They were once called junkies, but the infection has spread to people above that description.
Network Marketing has become obsessed with "timing", "pre-launches", and "the next big thing", but the cause behind that obsession is what truly scares me. I'll explain why shortly, but all you need to realize is that…
Pandora's Box has been opened and we will never be able to close it.
Why? What's causing this gruesome condition?
The Answer Is Simple…
The number of new people coming into MLM each year is now drastically out of proportion with the number of new company start ups.
Thousands of new MLM's launch every year thanks to the internet. You can literally start your own company from your bedroom if you want.
But there are only so many people to go around.
Welcome to the world of the Pre-Launch. A company's only chance to catch the attention of networkers, and steer them away from their current opportunity with the promise of "getting in on the ground floor."
Before you know it, the game has started AGAIN. This time around a company that promises to be the biggest and best with their new patented Wonder Vitamin 2000 that will change the world.
Networkers inevitably flock to it by the ten's of thousands trying to "get in on top".
And if they don't, it doesn't matter because another shiny new MLM will launch in about 9-12 months, and when it does, and the music stops, the people at the bottom scramble to find their seat in the chain, destroying their old company from the bottom up in the process.
This has resulted in a vicious cat fight between these companies over a dwindling supply of warm bodies, complete with name calling, back-stabbing, and an endless supply of lawsuits.
Make no mistake about it… In network marketing, people are the commodity that is traded, and YOU are very valuable.
The "B-Zone" is Gone and Took Your Residual Income With It!
Before the internet, organizations and companies were protected by an information buffer zone which shielded them from this onslaught of people, opinions, competitors, and ads.
It's this buffer zone that allowed relationships to be built, skills to be learned, and loyalties to be strengthened.
But the internet destroyed it in the blink of an eye.
It happens all the time...
You're sitting pretty on top of a fairly large organization. You think you've finally found that "residual" pot of income gold at the end of the rainbow. You're making about $20,000 a month. You quit your job 5 months ago, bought a new house, that new sports car you've always wanted, and paid off all your debt.
Life is good...
Then one day, the company changes their compensation plan just a little bit.
One of your leaders is NOT happy about it. They decide to move to another company, and with one click of a mouse... With one single email to his list of a few thousand recipients upline, downline and side-line... He basically destroys dozens of people's businesses, cutting their checks in half or even worse... Including yours.
The income you're relying on to pay the mortgage, invest for retirement, and put your kids through school literally vanishes overnight.

How The Game Is Played Today:
The first and most critical observation to note is that the very economics of MLM are changing. The cost of sponsoring a new rep in the cold market continues to spiral upward, while the actual return and "life time value" of that rep continues to decline.
We are faced with the fact that…
•Full page ads in an industry magazine that cost $500 eight years ago, now costs $3,000.
•Email marketing is dead, and the ability to advertise in a massive, targeted, and affordable way died with it.
•You will be forced to recruit everyday for the lifespan of your business just to combat the constant attrition that will plague your organization.
•The all important practice of retailing has become taboo, putting 90%+ of the focus and attention of the business on recruiting instead of customer acquisition which is where the long-term, stable money is found.
•The industry holds less and less appeal to the white collar business professional who has a hard time seeing how he/she's going to quickly replace a six-figure income peddling vitamins and fruit juice.

You know… I have to be honest. There is no right or wrong answer.
It really all depends on what you personally want out of your business, and if you're willing to deal with the negatives that come with an MLM these days.
If you'd like to build a new business every 9-24 months… Hey… Go for it. There's LOTS of money to be made quickly in MLM right now. It's just not going to last anywhere near as long as it used to and you'll probably find your business receding just as fast as it grew.
As for us, that kind of merry-go-round has no appeal because we've cut through the hype and come to a sobering conclusion...
It doesn't matter what company you build in MLM. You're going to face the same challenges we just mentioned above in all of them. The industry itself had changed, and you're never going to find a single product or compensation plan that will fix it.

I'm sorry to say, but the promise of life-long residual income is all but gone. There's the rare 1 in 1000 exception, but as a whole, Network Marketing has turned into a 3-ring circus of "quick-turn" building driven by greed, hype, and fear of loss where only the true, incredibly skilled professionals can reliably make any significant amount of money.
We're tired of the jumping, the attrition, the rumor control, the baby-sitting, having to explain why one opportunity is better than another. Dealing with prospects who think $300 to start a business is too much money… Seriously…
It's just not worth our time, it's not fun, and we know for a fact that a quickly growing list of industry professionals is coming to the same conclusion.

Pick a number and then double it because 50% of your people will cancel their product orders within 3 months.
What will you do when, (not if), one of your leaders walks out for another deal and takes half your team with them overnight?
We all know darn well that only 1 in 500+ will ever go on to build a team of over 500 reps, yet we're all selling an "easy way to work part-time and replace your full-time job".

How many customers would you need in a Top Tier program to make $4,000/mo…?
Drum roll please………… 4.
One customer a week to make an extra $48,000 a year, and that doesn't even figure in the leverage of the actual compensation plan which can multiply that number by a factor of 10 or $480,000 per year with just 1 new customer per week. (We'll actually show you these numbers in detail in just a few minutes).
That my friends, is an honest sell when you offer to provide someone with a vehicle to replace their income.
The bottom line is that in today's MLM environment, you must make enough from your personal activity to justify your time and involvement, because you'll just continue to spend more money than you make if you don't.
That leads us to another important consideration when it comes to "residual income"...
Consider this for a moment…
Let's say that you work your tail off for a year and build up an MLM business that paid you an average of $3,000 a month residually for the next 3 years. That's a total payout of $108,000 paid out over 3 years. This will never happen because you'll experience attrition and that check will shrink each month, but we'll go ahead and stick with that number anyway to keep things simple.
So $3,000/mo for 3 years... Not bad, but is that really the smartest route to go?
Or would it be better to work a business that paid out all $108,000 in the first 12 months without the "residual"?
I think so…
Why? Because that money is worth more today than it will be in 3 years.
Now you can take that $108,000 and invest it in REAL, long-term residual assets like real-estate, mutual-funds, stocks, etc…
I'd rather have $108,000 invested into real-estate or a mutual fund than siphon off $3,000 a month for 3 years (especially when I know that money can disappear over night if one of my leaders jumps ship). Heck, if you want the "illusion" of residual income, take the $108,000 made in 12 months, put it into a money market account, and then instruct your bank to transfer $3,000 of it into your checking account each month.
No disappearing downline or dipping sales volume to worry about, and at least you can make some interest on it for a few years.
Get Paid Today. Why wait on $5 Mickey Mouse commissions to drip in when you have no idea how long it will last? Get a year or more of that money up front on Day One, and then do some real damage with it outside MLM.
Which Costs More: A Top Tier Opportunity, Or Traditional MLM?
The second common objection to Top Tier programs is the start-up costs are "too high".
Actually, they are much less expensive than a traditional supplement based MLM. The average start-up cost and monthly auto-ship order for a traditional MLM is about $200. That comes out to $2,500+ a year when you factor in taxes and shipping.

Why? What's causing this gruesome condition?
The Answer Is Simple…
The number of new people coming into MLM each year is now drastically out of proportion with the number of new company start ups.
Thousands of new MLM's launch every year thanks to the internet. You can literally start your own company from your bedroom if you want.
But there are only so many people to go around.
Welcome to the world of the Pre-Launch. A company's only chance to catch the attention of networkers, and steer them away from their current opportunity with the promise of "getting in on the ground floor."
Before you know it, the game has started AGAIN. This time around a company that promises to be the biggest and best with their new patented Wonder Vitamin 2000 that will change the world.
Networkers inevitably flock to it by the ten's of thousands trying to "get in on top".

Pick a number and then double it because 50% of your people will cancel their product orders within 3 months.
What will you do when, (not if), one of your leaders walks out for another deal and takes half your team with them overnight?
We all know darn well that only 1 in 500+ will ever go on to build a team of over 500 reps, yet we're all selling an "easy way to work part-time and replace your full-time job".

How many customers would you need in a Top Tier program to make $4,000/mo…?
Drum roll please………… 4.
One customer a week to make an extra $48,000 a year, and that doesn't even figure in the leverage of the actual compensation plan which can multiply that number by a factor of 10 or $480,000 per year with just 1 new customer per week. (We'll actually show you these numbers in detail in just a few minutes).
That my friends, is an honest sell when you offer to provide someone with a vehicle to replace their income.
The bottom line is that in today's MLM environment, you must make enough from your personal activity to justify your time and involvement, because you'll just continue to spend more money than you make if you don't.
That leads us to another important consideration when it comes to "residual income"...
Consider this for a moment…
Let's say that you work your tail off for a year and build up an MLM business that paid you an average of $3,000 a month residually for the next 3 years. That's a total payout of $108,000 paid out over 3 years. This will never happen because you'll experience attrition and that check will shrink each month, but we'll go ahead and stick with that number anyway to keep things simple.
So $3,000/mo for 3 years... Not bad, but is that really the smartest route to go?
Or would it be better to work a business that paid out all $108,000 in the first 12 months without the "residual"?
I think so…
Why? Because that money is worth more today than it will be in 3 years.
Now you can take that $108,000 and invest it in REAL, long-term residual assets like real-estate, mutual-funds, stocks, etc…
I'd rather have $108,000 invested into real-estate or a mutual fund than siphon off $3,000 a month for 3 years (especially when I know that money can disappear over night if one of my leaders jumps ship). Heck, if you want the "illusion" of residual income, take the $108,000 made in 12 months, put it into a money market account, and then instruct your bank to transfer $3,000 of it into your checking account each month.
No disappearing downline or dipping sales volume to worry about, and at least you can make some interest on it for a few years.
Get Paid Today. Why wait on $5 Mickey Mouse commissions to drip in when you have no idea how long it will last? Get a year or more of that money up front on Day One, and then do some real damage with it outside MLM.
Which Costs More: A Top Tier Opportunity, Or Traditional MLM?
The second common objection to Top Tier programs is the start-up costs are "too high".

Over the last year, I’ve spent thousands of dollars & hundreds of hours researching home/internet based businesses, personalities, experts and so-called guru’s. • Over half (52.7%) of the workforce surveyed reported having headache, back pain, arthritis, or other musculoskeletal pain in the past two weeks, and 12.7% of all workforce lost productive time in a two-week period due to pain.
• Headache (5.4%) was the most common pain condition prompting lost productive time: followed by back pain (3.2%), arthritis pain (2%) and other musculoskeletal pain (2%).
• Overall, workers lost an average of 4.6 hours per week of productive time due to a pain condition.
• Other musculoskeletal pain (5.5 hours/week) and arthritis or back pain (5.2 hours/week) produced the largest amounts of lost productive time.
• Headache produced, on average, 3.5 hours of lost productive time per week.

Attraction Marketing vs Sleazy Salesman
You know what it’s like. You are sitting down enjoying your dinner or spending time with your family and you get the dreaded phone call from a phone provider company that swings straight into their sales pitch.
Before you even have time to say anything, they are manipulating you and trying their absolute best to try and convince you to buy their products. Isn’t it just the worst sales tactic in the world? And aren’t they not just the most annoying people in the world?!
This is not good for the company’s business or the company’s credibility and it sure has to be awful for the telephone salesman’s self esteem. Can you imagine having to do that every day and get hung up on and abused?

Sorting VS. Selling
Convince a man against his will, and he will be of the same opinion still…
The most powerful words you can ever speak come from the mouth of a wise man, your prospect.
Talking about your target market, consider the following example:
Who would you think is better at selling an idea, a 5 years old kid still sucking on his thumb or an experienced sales person? You would think the sales person right? But when you truly understand prospecting, a 5 year old kid would be more effective at getting their idea across than a sales person.
Learning How to Sort Rather Than Sell
Kids know how to sort rather than sell… they will find the right audience to promote to. The 5 year old will market to his mother knowing their father is not the right candidate. Now at the opposite end, how many times have we banged our head against the wall and tried coming back to the same prospect hoping to have a different result? Or that we have gotten so good at closing everyone, that later on they don’t pick up our phone calls once their emotional state wears off.
I’ve Been There
Selling is the art of persuasion. A lot of experienced closers can literally use emotional triggers to get someone to make a purchase on the spot. But what usually happens is it results in buyer remorse. Then what happens is your new rep will either try to get a refund or disappear all together. Sorting is a process of systematically capturing, filtering, and sorting out the right prospects.
You must have a system and a pipeline in place. Your system should be doing all the selling and sorting for you and all you should do is reach out to the qualified ones. Think of a supreme water filter with 10 layers of filtering. What comes out from the other side when you pour a cup of water/ sand/ dirt mix through? Clear water comes through on the other side right? And all you do afterwards is reap the rewards. So this is exactly how your system must work. Filter out the tire kickers and only talk to the action takers.
Simple Right?
Of course another key component to make the sorting process work is massive lead generation.
There are actually many options: blogs, pay-per-click, ezines, articles, postcards, direct mail, social networking… just to name a few. Make sure you educate yourself with the basics first before you get into paid advertising. Otherwise you will lose a lot of money making mistakes you could have avoided, which we have already spoken about in earlier lessons.
Let the prospects convince you that they are serious. Most network marketers are taught to sell and convince other people how great their opportunity is or how amazing the compensation plan is, and even how wonderful the company is. Real prospects are looking for leaders! Not companies or products. They’re actively looking to join a leader or a system that can help them make money. The beautiful part is you don’t have to make a lot of money to be perceived as a leader. Which means you can attract enormous amounts of prospects to you too. Now, the question you need to ask yourself is…
Do You Have a System?
Are you speaking to the most qualified people who are already interested in joining your business? Or are you wasting time speaking to everyone?
When I first got started in this industry, my entire mindset was different. I was taught to just speak to as many people as humanly possible. It’s a numbers game right? Well, yes and no. You see, if you’re wasting time speaking to a ton of people who aren’t the “right” target audience, what have you done? You have just spent all your valuable time on people who have a very low chance of joining your business when you could have been speaking to ONLY interested people.
Wasted Time Equals Decreased Sales and Profits
Now, if you’re spending more time with only the most qualified people who are very interested in what you have to offer, then all of a sudden, your sales jump up and your profits increase. Without a marketing system to filter people, you will never get to the income levels that you are looking to be at. It’s just simply impossible. Remember, all a successful business is, are systems and processes that work at a high efficiency.
Be honest with yourself.
Do you have efficient systems and processes in your business?
If your answer is “NO”, that’s probably why you’re not at the income level you desire.

Old School Math - Old School Results!
I want to do some simple Old School Math with you.
Most of these Old School MLM Matrix Programs out there
pay you $1 per person. Even if you did all the work to sign
that person up, you still only get $1.
With this type of Old School Pay Plan, if your goal was
to earn an extra $500 a month to help with the bills, you
would need to have 500 people in your Old School Matrix.
Now here is the problem most people have. AND I know
this for a FACT! Most people will tell you that they do not
consider themselves to be good recruiters.
If your goal is $500 a month, and you are only earning $1
per person, you need to recruit 500 people. That’s simple
Old School Math that everyone can understand.
If you do not feel you are a ``Good Recruiter” then these

Home Business Tax Advantages in Network Marketing

Employee’s W2′s are beginning to arrive in mailboxes all across the country. People are being hit hard with the reality of how large a portion of their earnings are going to income and other taxes.
Here’s something you may not realize (no pun intended):
The average American works until May 5th just to pay their taxes. And many Americans have little or no savings or investments for retirement.
And here’s why I’ve brought up this uncomfortable topic at all:
Enter the savvy person who joins a network marketing business, or starts any home-based business this year. As a home based business owner, many of the things you are paying for now, become legitimate tax deductions.
Things like:
* Your computer
* Your internet connection
* Your long distance and cell phone service
* A percentage of your rent or mortgage
* The initial investment or the start-up costs you pay to become associated with your preferred MLM / network marketing opportunity, or other business venture
* Your vacations when combined with the appropriate amount of business
This concept is known as “redirecting expenses”. So why aren’t more Americans aware of this and starting more home businesses? My answer to that is we were not taught to do so. We were taught to get good grades, graduate and get a job, work hard and be rewarded by our employer. Ah, the good ole days! Life is asking more from us today.
According to Sandy Botkin, the author of ‘Lower Your Taxes Big Time’ and a former IRS Attorney, “You would be brain dead not to start a home-based business.” I agree to a point. Lots of people with perfectly healthy brains just don’t know what they don’t know.
So I say, “You’d have to be brain dead ‘if you know the potential tax benefits’ and then choose not to start a home-based business.”
Botkin goes on to say:
* You will never get rich until you learn to get your taxes down to the legal minimum
* There are 2 tax systems in this country – one for salaried employees, and one for small/home business owners
* A home business will make you better off than a second income
* Traditional job security has declined over the years and will continue to do so, making home businesses more attractive
* You will probably save $2000 to $10,000 per year by starting your own part-time home business
So what is the answer? Yes, this is kind of a trick question.
I may not have “the” answer for everyone, but I have “an” answer that will be right for many. Start a home-based network marketing business this year. Starting your own home-based network marketing business may be the very best asset that you’ll buy in this lifetime.
I say start a network marketing business because of low start-up costs, and the personalized training you will (ought) to receive from the person and team who sponsors you. You will have a learning curve to go through to start making money, so it can be beneficial to not have the stress of a large up-front expense to deal with while you’re learning.
It used to be that MLM or network marketing was better suited to those outgoing, super people-person types who loved nothing better than to approach every person they encountered around town and tell them about their business.
Or someone who was already well connected, and could build an organization almost over night based on their established relationships.
These days, you can still be outgoing and connected, and succeed in MLM. That hasn’t changed. What has changed is, if you’re an introvert, a home body, or just too busy living your life to attend hotel meetings and host home parties, you can still build a thriving MLM business.
With responsible use of the Internet, websites, discussion groups, blogs and the telephone you can work part-time on your fortune, from the comfort of your home.
So if you’re ready to start your home based business and you thought you weren’t cut out for network marketing, consider taking another look. You may not have changed, but succeeding in this particular industry has.
And who knows, with all of the new deductions owning a home business provides, you may even look forward to tax time next year!

ALL great moves of God must begin among His people, Hemphill emphasized April 8, in his first address as lead strategist for KINGDOM! Group - Kingdom Growth initiative.
Using both Old and New Testament texts on how God viewed His Kingdom, Hemphill said God has drawn others to Himself through His people only as they embrace Him in repentance and humble obedience.
"If you were thinking Kingdom Growth is about some program that will give new juice to your old ways of thinking, you're going to be disappointed," Hemphill told several dozen christian small business leaders. "This is about radical lifestyle commitment to our Father's Kingdom, for our Father's reward. And none of us may receive much glory for this here on earth.
"It's about transformation of people, so that their name is synonymous with His name, and the nation would see His name manifested in His Kingdom in such a way that the ALL people would be drawn to him."
Empowering Kingdom Growth is a life initiative launched in 2010 to call people to renew their passion for Jesus and the reign of His Kingdom.
When Israel was dedicating the temple, he pointed out, the whole focus of Solomon's prayer in 1 Kings 8 was similarly on lifting up God's name so that "foreigners" would hear about God and come to live among the people of Israel.
"Here we have an incredible evangelistic outreach in the Old Testament that is one we have never even dreamed of," Hemphill said, "and that is that God has embraced people in such a way that they are drawn to this place."
"If we're going to see Kingdom growth it's not going to be another formula," Hemphill said. "It's not going to be another program. It's going to have to be a radical transformation of God's people so that His name is made holy among us."
While the movement was effective in many ways, Hemphill said, "I think it did produce a carnality in us that we began to believe there was something we could do to grow the church."
The same elements of God's Kingdom vision also are found in the New Testament, Hemphill said.
If we go into this hoping that people are going to receive the glory, we're going to miss it by a mile," Hemphill said. "The only person who needs to receive glory from anything we do -- whether preaching, at work or doing business -- is the one whose name is above every name."

Preservation Of Wealth
Recently I found myself choosing between Preservation of Wealth and Numis Network as an addition to my home business lineup. I had looked at several companies, but found myself looking more specifically at these two silver coin mlm business opportunities. In this article I want to give you some of the similarities and differences between these two great companies. I will also share with you my ultimate decision and how I arrived that decision.
Both Preservation of Wealth and Numis Network were launched in the summer of 2009, in fact their public launches were just 3 weeks apart. Numis offered an impressive marketing system and quickly began drawing some of the top names in the world of internet network marketing. With the addition of David Wood in the spring of 2010, this momentum continued to build, quickly bringing Numis to a place of prominence in the network marketing world. Being in the background has not deterred the management team at Preservation of Wealth in their business building efforts either. President and founder, Justin Davis has also been bringing in network marketing leaders with a high level of business building experience.
Although both companies offer precious metals as their primary products and work off of a binary compensation model, there are distinct differences between the two companies that need to be examined. First and foremost, is the fundamental foundation of the two businesses. Numis Network is targeted towards those who are interested in accumulating high grade collectible coins. Preservation of Wealth focuses on those who are interested in accumulating quantities of precious metals, focused more on the gold and silver content than on coin grading. This means that a likely Numis buyer is going to be more interested in picking up high grade coins, while a PoW buyer is more interested in purchasing bullion for the silver and gold content. I felt that the greater opportunity with a gold and silver mlm business was in the asset accumulation marketplace. I don't know many "serious" coin collectors, but I do know many who are serious about asset accumulation and hedging against the devaluation of the U.S. Dollar. In the long run, my target customer is not concerned with coin grade, but they are more interested in metals content and getting the most precious metal for their money. Secondarily, the lower operating cost of PoW made much better sense for the person who is serious about building this type of asset accumulation business.
