U R already self employed!
U R already self employed!!!
When are you going to start acting like it?
The idea that you are a faceless cog in a benevolent system that cares about you and can't tell particularly whether you are worth a day's pay or not, is, like it or not, over - so don't trip!
In the long run, we're all dead. In the medium-long run, though, we're all self-employed. In the medium-long run, the decisions and actions we take each day determine what we'll be doing next, in the near term we ... well - you know! And yet, it's so easy to revert to, 'I just work here.'"; next thing you know, you don't!

All MY Best !
June 18th, 2010
Whether you’re already an entrepreneur, or just thinking about becoming one, you are invariably motivated by one of two things, or maybe even both–passion and necessity. Very often, entrepreneurs do what they do simply because they like it and want to do it. And because entrepreneurs, particularly very successful ones, rarely do anything half-way, they tend to pursue their lives and their businesses with a unique intensity. In short, they are passionate about how they live and work.
Sometimes though, entrepreneurs start a business because they have to.
Maybe it was because they were laid off from their jobs, or even worse, fired. Perhaps their company went out of business and left them out of work, or didn’t pay them enough money. In today’s economy, it’s not uncommon to see whole industries collapse when their markets dry up, as we’re seeing with real estate, construction, mortgage lending and automobiles. Many of today’s highly successful companies were started by entrepreneurs and bred from pure necessity, plain and simple.
Entrepreneurship carries with it many rewards–and many risks. It is often said that when you are self-employed, you wake up unemployed every morning. But according to Experian, one of the three biggest credit reporting agencies, self-employed entrepreneurs make about 25% more than the general population. Of course when you really consider income differential, you also need to realize that most of the wealthiest men in America made their fortunes as entrepreneurs. Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Donald Trump and Sam Walton are all self-made billionaire entrepreneurs.
But what about the risks? According to Entrepreneur Magazine somewhere between 85 and 94% % of all new business fail within the first 5 years. According to Dr. Gregory B. Murphy, associate dean and director of the MBA program for the College of Business at the University of Southern Indiana, the number of small businesses that close up shop due to severe financial distress such as bankruptcy is more on the order of 30%-40%. Regardless, this is still a huge rate of attrition.
Regardless of the risk, according to a study of entrepreneurs conducted by Master Card International, 65% of small business owners would tell a friend to start a business now, rather than wait a year. And according to MSNBC, small businesses are responsible for over 75% of the net new jobs in the economy.
These businesses often start very small–called micro businesses–and then grow rapidly. The US Census Bureau reports that 49% of the nation’s businesses are run from home, and industry analyst the Dieringer Group places the number of Americans running businesses from home at 45.1 million. Today, more so than ever, it is easy to start such a home-based business. Global search engine giant Yahoo reports that well over 75% percent of adults surveyed online indicated that the Internet directly facilitated the launch of their new business.
Based on all of this, regardless of whether you are–or want to be–an entrepreneur based on passion or necessity, you also need to consider the risk versus the reward. The potential benefits are vast and unlimited. The major risk is that you have about a 50% chance of failure. But you can get around that by doing some very basic things.
Leaders are not born. They are created. Anyone can become a leader in any area if they want to. (Read OUTLIERS by Malcom Gladwell) You need to set realistic expectations and manage them aggressively and then stick the bleep in there!
Success is almost entirely based on determination–having the discipline to hang in there even when you feel like quitting 1000 times. Most entrepreneurs fail because they simply give up too soon. Free enterprise is really about the survival of the fittest, where only the strongest survive. The formula is simple–figure out what you what and then don’t quit until you have achieved your goals. Period.

Our Philosophy:
At Life Wealth S-Y-S-T-E-M S you will learn by doing. Each online activity/conference includes assignments that consist of work that a real professional would do. There are years of research that back this up, but most of us know this intuitively.
How do you learn to ride a bike, speak, to read, to write?
Learning-by-doing is not a new idea. For thousands of years people who have thought about education have noted that we learn by doing, not by being told. Why? Because we remember our own experiences much better than we remember things that were told to us. However, it has been quite difficult to implement learning by doing in a classroom. Computers are a different medium, more suited to doing. However, many e-learning courses haven't really understood how to use this medium well. They are trying to copy school. We don't think that methods employed in a classroom translate that well onto a computer. Classrooms weren't so wonderful anyhow. Look at movies in the first decade of the 1900's; they were pretty bad. Why? Because filmmakers were simply filming plays. Over the years, movies began to evolve. This is very similar to what is happening in e-learning. Many educators are still trying to paste lecture courses into an e-learning course, and, like the early movies, the results have not been good. We are offering a different experience, one more suited to this new medium.
Kevin K.Hemphill and his team have been perfecting the learning-by-doing experience for many years. Simply put, Hemphill and his team are in a different league. We hope you enjoy the resources we offer along the way to help create new experiences for you to build on and remember.

Don't Forget To Remember - FREEDOM isn't free!
We’ve all lost someone. We know how it feels. I don’t need to write about that.
Great people, give even greater sacrifices for the betterment of others. Some are remembered with parades and street signs, others holidays and stamps. But today we remember those that gave, whatever the cost, without the need or promise of applause. The GIVERS in our lives whose names aren’t bronzed, but whose deeds remain living through our memories.
Today let’s remember those who gave of their present so that we may have a better future.
Whoever it may be, wherever they are… remember them today.
All my best,

Success / Money / Taxes - A natural progression!
Tax season has passed. (thank God) But the life of an entrepreneur is not seasonal. In the infancy of any business, the accounting and management of the company’s finances can be the make or break component.
Here’s a couple of tax exemptions to keep in mind for the coming year. Obviously, doing something for a tax deduction isn’t good business sense, but it seems smart to add to your action items if you’re just getting started.
PLEASE NOTE: Obviously I cannot give you tax advice but I can tell you some of the things that I personally do:) Please consult a CPA before making any tax decisions! I always like to know what the parameters are and usually err on the conservative side. The last thing you want to do is attract the ire of the IRS by setting off their pretty little red flags.
Home Office: If it’s a room for storing the rusty Bowflex you can’t seem to get rid of, and the kids softball gear, that would be a “no.” But if it isn’t, glory be! I personally write of a portion of my mortgage, utilities, rent, insurance, etc. Talk to your CPA about this one… it’s a biggie.
Gifts: Sending your sponsor a nice bottle of scotch? (hint) This can be included up to $25 bucks per gift. (It adds up.) Again, check with your CPA to see how laws in your state, province, or country rule on this.
Legal and Business Expenses: Setting up your LLC, filing with the state etc. I write it all off.
Travel and Meal Expenses: I save all receipts from meals that are business related. My accountant like me to write the name of the client and nature of the meeting on the top… I stuff these in my wallet and collect in a shoe box in my office in case the tax man wants to see them. I also deduct mileage, tolls & parking fees. (Track the odometer start and finish for each trip) where your going and why. I always err on the low side and never try to push the limits with travel deductions. This is one thing the IRS looks at closely as there are a lot of people working the loop-holes.
Philanthropy: Goodwill. Red Cross. I always save the receipts and hand over to my CPA at the end of the year. With the tax bracket I am in (close to 50% all included) a $1000 donation to the Red Cross is really only costing me $500! Give away, and give often! Here are some of my favorites: http://www.jaykubassek.com/causes
Software: Adobe, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Mac software, whatever. Save your receipts… Even magazines (online or otherwise) can be included.
Cell Phone, Internet service, Land Line (Skype): If it’s used for your business, it’s PARTIALLY deductible. (Only the portion used for business purposes.)
Loan Interest: If it’s from a relative, well I can’t help you with that one:) you’ll have to make sure it conforms to IRS (or your local governments) rules.
I find that if I do the little things throughout the year, it saves me a heck of a lot of time at the end. Not to mention the bill from my accountant is less painful. Needless to say, I rest assured that I am not OVER paying as a result of laziness on my part.
Again, please be sure to get yourself a good CPA to consult you on this stuff. As an entrepreneur, this is just one of the many little annoyances you will have to tolerate.

The Next Wireless Boom - Prepaid Unlimited!
Did you miss out on the cell phone explosion of the 1980's?
Do you wish that you had invested in Microsoft, Google or Walmart in the beginning?
Well here is your second chance to get your share of the $11 billion dollar per month and growing cell phone service pie!
Jump aboard the Lightyear train as we expand and grow not only nationally, but internationally as well. Look at the numbers to the right and imagine what the growth will be by 2013 and beyond. 13 million people sign up for cell phone service every month. This ride is going to be better than an "E" ticket at Disneyland! Are you going to be one of the pioneers or are you going to be saying,"I should have"?
Many people don't even have a wired home phone anymore and that number is growing daily.
Some people don't even own a desktop computer anymore because they can accomplish everything that they need to with a blackberry phone or a notebook computer with a wireless connection.

How difficult is it to show someone how they can save on their monthly bill while still being on the best wireless networks available. While your customers are saving on their monthly bill, you will be earning promotions, residuals and bonus's.

You sign up a representative under you. You receive $100 one time commission and 10% residual on their monthly bill and up to 4% residual from their customers bill every month thereafter. This extends down 8 levels.

Walk The Talk - That's It !
Is The Tongue In Your Mouth Stronger Than The Tongue In Your Shoe?
I got a call today from a gentleman who informed me that he has a particular goal that he wants to hit by the end of August for his business. I could tell by the tone of his voice that he was emotionally pumped up, and that he has every intention of doing “whatever it takes” to hit his goal.
Now, I’m always encouraged to hear when someone has made the decision to take their business seriously and do the work that it takes. I hope for this individual that the tongue in his mouth won’t be stronger than the tongue in his shoe.
Lip service is very popular these days. Everybody wants to flap their gums about what they are going to do, but when it’s time to work (and work consistently I might add), that’s when we start to see a huge drop off in commitment.
I can’t tell you the number of people that I’ve met over the last year who have come into knowing me through my articles, videos, webinars, speaking engagements, or maybe they’ve read my story and felt a connection. They are really encouraged by my success and find comfort in knowing that someone like me can relate to them.
In all honestly, we don’t really relate at all, other than what’s on the surface. You see, I’m one of those individuals that doesn’t do a whole lot of talking about what I’m going to do. I just do it. I let my actions speak for me. In the minds of a few people, I’m sort of viewed as a superhero; somebody who has been able to leap tall buildings in a single bound; to catch bullets in my teeth, or outrun a locomotive.
Ok, that’s a bit much I admit, but you should hear some of the calls I get from people who find it fascinating that I would even answer my phone, let alone speak to them about their business.
Hey, I’m just a guy who’s trying to live his dreams. I have my hands on a wonderful opportunity and I have great people around me who know what they are doing. Over the last year, I’ve worked my tail off to get in position to be a person of influence. I’ve posted over 1,500 articles, recorded over 200 videos, hosted around 50 webinars, and a few other things to get here.
The tongue in my shoe represents WORK. I work hard, I work consistently, and I work my plan. I have days where I slack off, or don’t really feel like doing anything. Like I said, I’m no superhero or a machine. The difference is, I don’t string together days, weeks, months, even years of laziness.
I think about the time I stayed with my coach and mentor, Cedrick Harris for the first time. There was one incident that took place in his home while I was there that I will never forget. He was nice enough to allow me to stay with him for a few days, and one evening I got up to go to the restroom. I went up the stairs and passed by his office and heard him talking. It was 2am and I could tell he wasn’t talking to his fiance’. The door was open, so I entered his office to witness him doing a 3-way call with one of his reps! Did I say it was 2 o’clock in the morning? Now, I ask you – do you have this kind of commitment to get your goals? I can assure you that he didn’t initiate a call to his coach to inform him that he was that committed.
Don’t you think that it’s about time that you looked yourself in the mirror and decided to keep that tongue in your mouth from wagging so much and let loose the tongue in your shoe and work? Time is NOT on your side, my friend. Tomorrow is not promised, and yesterday is gone. Get it done, TODAY! Less talk, more action!

Plan to WIN, or you will not win!
Staying on Course
Once you have decided your first set of plans, keep the process going by reviewing and updating your to-do list on a daily basis. Periodically review the longer term plans, and modify them to reflect your changing priorities and experience.
Goal Setting Tips
The following broad guidelines will help you to set effective goals:
State each goal as a positive statement: Express your goals positively - 'Execute this technique well' is a much better goal than 'Don't make this stupid mistake.'
Be precise: Set a precise goal, putting in dates, times and amounts so that you can measure achievement. If you do this, you will know exactly when you have achieved the goal, and can take complete satisfaction from having achieved it.
Set priorities: When you have several goals, give each a priority. This helps you to avoid feeling overwhelmed by too many goals, and helps to direct your attention to the most important ones.
Write goals down: This crystallizes them and gives them more force.
Keep operational goals small: Keep the low-level goals you are working towards small and achievable. If a goal is too large, then it can seem that you are not making progress towards it. Keeping goals small and incremental gives more opportunities for reward. Derive today's goals from larger ones.
Set performance goals, not outcome goals: You should take care to set goals over which you have as much control as possible. There is nothing more dispiriting than failing to achieve a personal goal for reasons beyond your control. In business, these could be bad business environments or unexpected effects of government policy. In sport, for example, these reasons could include poor judging, bad weather, injury, or just plain bad luck. If you base your goals on personal performance, then you can keep control over the achievement of your goals and draw satisfaction from them.
Set realistic goals: It is important to set goals that you can achieve. All sorts of people (employers, parents, media, society) can set unrealistic goals for you. They will often do this in ignorance of your own desires and ambitions. Alternatively you may set goals that are too high, because you may not appreciate either the obstacles in the way or understand quite how much skill you need to develop to achieve a particular level of performance.
SMART Goals:
A useful way of making goals more powerful is to use the SMART mnemonic. While there are plenty of variants, SMART usually stands for:
S Specific
M Measurable
A Attainable
R Relevant
T Time-bound
For example, instead of having “to sail around the world” as a goal, it is more powerful to say “To have completed my trip around the world by December 31, 2015.” Obviously, this will only be attainable if a lot of preparation has been completed beforehand!
Achieving Goals
When you have achieved a goal, take the time to enjoy the satisfaction of having done so. Absorb the implications of the goal achievement, and observe the progress you have made towards other goals. If the goal was a significant one, reward yourself appropriately. All of this helps you build the self-confidence you deserve!
With the experience of having achieved this goal, review the rest of your goal plans:
If you achieved the goal too easily, make your next goals harder.
If the goal took a dispiriting length of time to achieve, make the next goals a little easier.
If you learned something that would lead you to change other goals, do so.
If you noticed a deficit in your skills despite achieving the goal, decide whether to set goals to fix this.
Failure to meet goals does not matter much, as long as you learn from it. Feed lessons learned back into your goal setting program.
Remember too that your goals will change as time goes on. Adjust them regularly to reflect growth in your knowledge and experience, and if goals do not hold any attraction any longer, then let them go.
Key points:
Goal setting is an important method of:
Deciding what is important for you to achieve in your life;
Separating what is important from what is irrelevant, or a distraction;
Motivating yourself; and
Building your self-confidence, based on successful achievement of goals.
If you don't already set goals, do so, starting now. As you make this technique part of your life, you'll find your career
